How I Found This #1 Song (and got it signed)

A few months ago a young client Thomas Mattia from Italy contacted me through my production profile at Soundbetter.com to mix and master a song “Escape” for him. I took a listen to the demo and was immediately interested in taking on the project.

After I had completed the project, I asked Thomas if he was ok with me pitching the song to a label, 418 Music,  I work closely with in developing artists and running promo for, and he said “sure, go ahead”.

Soon after, Gino Caporale, the CEO of the label signed the deal with Thomas and today the song is #1 on the most influential music pool in the US, Kings of Spins.
